Concurrent and cross-jurisdiction cases

Handling cases that may engage more than one territorial or prosecuting authority.

Where conduct crosses Havenstead and England, or affects both United Hampshire State and Hampshire public functions, the CPS must identify the competent investigating body, prosecutor, court and applicable law before proceeding.

A case should record any question about National Police Service authority in England, any required authorisation, and whether the Serious Fraud Office, another prosecutor or the Attorney General’s Office must be consulted. Jurisdiction must not be inferred from the location of a Discord server, Roblox experience or record.
